Robinson Asphalts, plus friends and family took part in this years annual Loop Challenge. Organised by Sport Northland Events, the 4.8km run/walk is aimed at celebrating the Hatea Loop Walk/Cycleway (Huarahi o te Whai) and Workplace Health. Teams are encouraged to have plenty of fun!
With the threat of rain hanging about, our team of around 25 headed off hoping to repeat the wins from 2017 in the Construction/Building/Transport category and Overall Team winners.
The event was well organised and supported, with over 700 people from 75 different local business coming out to compete! Whilst we didn't manage to take out the top awards as hoped, we picked up a number of spot prizes including our Workshop Manager Perrie winning a bike!
