I am not sure how many different members of your staff worked on our property in one way or another in getting the jobs finished, but without exception they were polite, always looked as if they knew what they were doing, and the level of pride they took in the work is reflected in what we feel is a really excellent environment they have helped create. Age Concern

Any building project undertaken in the winter months incurs hold-ups due to inclement weather and we have experienced our share of these with our Age Concern project.

Observing your workmen going about their tasks regardless of any adverse conditions has really impressed us all. Your crew have consistently worked industriously and it's been a pleasure to see them getting on with the job.

We contracted Robinson Asphalts to construct the car park for our new professional rooms. I was under the misconception that Asphalt and Concreting Contractors were casual in their approach. How wrong I was! Robinson Asphalts were extremely professional in their approach to the job, meticulous in planning and execution of the ground preparation and hotmixing of the car park. The staff were helpful and flexible to any requests for alterations made during the process. The firm and workers went beyond the contracted job description to ensure that the finished product was of the highest standard.

We were so impressed by the work done by Robinson Asphalts at our rooms, that we contacted them to prepare and concrete our home drive with aggregate. More recently, we contact Robinson Asphalts to concrete the driveway at work. On both occasions, we were thrilled with the final product and Robinson's commitment to a professional job - from pre-planning; through the execution of the work; and willingness to go that step further, beyond the contract, to ensure a top final creation.

I have no hesitation in recommending Robinson Asphalts for any driveway or car park job and would immediately contact them again if I have any need for such work.

I can’t thank you enough for your team’s efforts today. The boys turned up, all smiling and happy. They got stuck straight into it and did the job in about 50 minutes. They were both courteous and professional in both their skills and attitudes. I was amazed how they all knew exactly what was required and didn’t need instruction from the foreman.

From my experience it is unusual for a gang to be aware of both expectations and the economics involved in such work without any prompting. No customer could have been possibly unhappy with the way they conducted themselves today. You have every right to be proud of them and they are certainly a good advertisement for your company. It was a pleasure and a success to work with the Robinson Asphalts team to make our vision for the Sportsville Courts a reality, in particular, Alan Johnston the owner,  Tom Taylor the Project Manager and David Wright the Foreman who for most of the project I only knew as Tattoo - his expertise is huge. Throughout the building of the courts we had a huge amount of curve balls thrown at us, including changes in the geo tech from what was predicted, the lighting foundations design not fitting the ground conditions and numerous other challenges. Tattoo took all this in his stride, at our fortnightly site meetings he always had that big smile and kept us informed. An absolute treasure to work with. Robinson Asphalts should be very proud of the excellent outcome.

Downers laid the asphaltic concrete finish for the courts and their headman told Trevor Griffiths (Griffiths & Associates) that in twenty years working in the North they had never had a site so expertly and faultlessly prepared so well done Tom, Tattoo (David) and the Robinsons crew.

Robinson Asphalts has undertaken numerous contracts and also ongoing maintenance for Northland District Health Board over a long period of time at Whangarei Hospital and Bay of Islands Hospital.
